Looks like AMPs aren’t just for the common people anymore! A well-renowned hip-hop and R&B artist Chris Brown was recently spotted leaving a massage parlor. Sound the alarm! Looks like us civilians and icons of hip-hop/R&B have a lot more common ground than we thought.  Upon hearing this news, I decided to investigate a bit myself, curious as to see what kind of AMP a man worth $30 million would go to.  And I’ll be damned if I wasn’t both disappointed and puzzled.  He was seen leaving “Aegean Massage Therapy” in Studio City, CA.  And what do you know, we have that amp location here: http://www.rubmaps.com/erotic-massage-aegean-massage-therapy-studio-city-ca-16130#rubmaps .  I looked it up, and found that there were only 2 reviews on the place.  Found out it was a non-erotic MP.  How disappointing.  Now as I was about to call an end to this short-lived investigation, an interesting thought hit me.

If I was worth $30 million, would I really be wasting my time on a massage parlor, for a legit massage, at a place that only has 1 review on Yelp, and only 2 on Rubmaps? The answer is no.  I would build a massage parlor myself, hire a metric ton of hot, Asian chicks, and get myself one hell of a happy ending.  In my opinion, this man wasn’t here for a legit massage; this was a mistake!  If he’d just bothered to do a quick search on Rubmaps, or had an account here (I’m definitely not advertising directly to you, Chris Brown); he would have found a whole lot more than a mediocre massage, and a bunch of unnecessary media attention.  I mean, with all the bad press he’s getting from this, he might as well go visit:

1. Healing Spa Center (Latinas/Asians)

2. A&S Therapy (Latinas/Asians)

3. Healing Spa (Asians)

And have some actual fun! They’re all in the same city as the MP he already wasted time at…

Another random idea that struck me is racism.  There have been plenty of MPs that have been reported as legit, at first glance, but turned out to be HE MPs with a few more repeated visits.  I’ve never been to “Aegean Massage Therapy” myself, so I cannot say it’s a legit MP for certain.  But it’s been known that certain AMPs will turn away our African-American brothers due to the color of their skin (here’s a link to a blog containing racist experiences: http://www.rubmaps.com/blog/is-racism-limited-only-to-the-nba-68.  Could it be possible that no matter how famous you are, or how much money you have, that being any other color than white or yellow, will get you turned down (for a HE) at an AMP?  Of course, we have no proof as to whether he did or did NOT get a HE, but his facial expressions in the photos taken as he’s walking out, don’t appear to be the ones I have, when I leave “happily”.

This blog isn’t a rant about racist experiences, or what MPs in Studio City are best; we already did that one!  It’s about guiding those that are curious about this hobby, in the right direction. Help your fellow newbie mongers out! Don’t let your brethren waste their time and money at a legit MP, when they could be getting their minds (along with a few other things) blown from a “happy finish”.  And for those of you that don’t have a premium account, see what it’s like to have one, even if it’s just for a month!  It will vastly improve your experience in this field.  Or even better, help contribute, by posting a picture of an AMP (as in, an AMP location WITHOUT a picture), and get a whole month free!
