italian196902.08 2014 : June 23, 2012 Worcester woman accused of running 'massage parlors' WORCESTER — A woman accused of managing houses of prostitution in Worcester and Hopedale was ordered held on $10,000 cash bail yesterday on a charge of human trafficking for sexual servitude.Ling Wang, 50, whose address is listed in court records as 466 Park Ave., Suite 2, was arrested Thursday after a state police investigation focusing on three locations, two of which were identified by investigators as houses of prostitution, according to an application for a criminal complaint filed in court by state police Sgt. Donna M. Losardo.The addresses of the alleged brothels were listed as 466 Park Ave. in Worcester and 12 Menfi Way in Hopedale.The third address was not listed in the application, which states that search warrants were executed at all three. Before the searches occurred, state police conducted surveillance at the target locations and saw several males enter the premises “for a 'massage' (sexual services for a fee),†then leave, according to the court filing.The males were later stopped and interviewed and allegedly provided information to police confirming that they had received massages and sexual favors from the women at the “massage parlor,†the application states.The investigation also revealed that Ms. Wang acted as the manager of the operations and maintained the houses of prostitution by paying for rent, utilities and “on-line ads for illicit services,†according to the application. Ms. Wang was arrested after she was seen leaving the Hopedale address and her car was stopped on Interstate 495.Assistant District Attorney Tracy Kennedy requested during Ms. Wang's Central District Court arraignment that she be held on $25,000 cash bail and that she submit to GPS monitoring and surrender any passport she might have as conditions of her release. The prosecutor said the investigation that led to the charge against Ms. Wang was ongoing and that an additional charge would be brought in Milford District Court as a result of activities at 12 Menfi Way in Hopedale.Ms. Wang's lawyer, Robert L. Jubinville, said his client had no criminal record and asked that she be released on personal recognizance.Mr. Jubinville said it was not clear to him from the police report he was provided in the case whether any crime had been committed. The men police said they interviewed, for example, made no mention of paying any money for sex, Mr. Jubinville said.He also said he had been provided with no evidence to support the charge of human trafficking for sexual servitude.Judge Steven A. Thomas set $10,000 cash bail and ordered Ms. Wang as conditions of her release to submit to GPS monitoring and surrender any passport she might have. The judge continued the case to July 20.

State Police shut down both AMPS in 2012, but Wei Wei Bodywork changed its name a few times and reopened.
