Lebanon police announced the arrests of three people on prostitution-related charges Monday after searching a spa â€” the latest arrests in a series of busts across Tennessee. Lebanon police, working with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement, searched Lee Spa on Sparta Pike on Friday. Arrested and charged were Kyung Lee, 53 of Lebanon, on charges of prostitution and impersonation of a licensed professional; Kyong Kim, 52 ,of Los Angeles, on charges of prostitution, impersonating a licensed professional and massage of an erogenous zone; and Sun Cheung, 55, of Lebanon, on one charge of promoting prostitution. Police also seized about $4,700and padlocked the business. TBI spokeswoman Kristin Helm said state investigators helped coordinate searches of about a dozen spas and massage parlors Friday in Middle and East Tennessee. â€œThe entire case is an investigation into specific massage parlors and spas who would either be promoting prostitution or human trafficking,â€ Helm said. Helm said additional charges are possible, but declined to give details as the multiple investigations were ongoing. On Saturday, Murfreesboro police announced arrests at two massage businesses: Health Massage on South Church Street, which was ordered closed under the cityâ€™s nuisance law, and Chinese Therapeutic Massage on Memorial Boulevard. In Murfreesboro, Kiran Han was arrested on four counts of promoting prostitution and Duan Hong, Chong Junkins, Meihong Su and Sarah Yi were all arrested for impersonating a licensed professional. Murfreesboro police seized more than $50,000 from the two businesses. A TBI agent also visited one business in Franklin, but local authorities said no arrest was made.
