What happened yesterday was nothing short of a miracle.  Whether you are a Patriots fan, Falcons fan, or just a fan of football, you were in for a treat yesterday.  The two teams battling on the gridiron did not disappoint as the Falcons jumped out to a seemingly insurmountable lead before the Tom Brady led Patriots were able to erase that huge lead and win the Super Bowl.

Ancillary to the Super Bowl and its festivities are industries and companies that benefit heavily from the Super Bowl.  This is what we will call the Super Bowl Effect.

For example, Las Vegas sees a huge influx of patrons who sit together and gamble millions of dollars on the game.  Hotels are full, restaurants are teeming with people, and the streets are filled.  This is the Super Bowl effect.  Pizza delivery vehicles are also in huge force as they deliver pizzas to those glued to their televisions.  The Super Bowl is such a spectacle that people actually wait for the commercials to play as well and thus cannot leave their seats to get food.  Even public utilities are affected by the Super Bowl.  During halftime, the water level for city utilities drop severely with everyone taking that bathroom break.

So, what about the parlors? Do the parlors feel the Super Bowl effect?  Are parlors that were open during the Super Bowl providing more because of the lack of foot traffic?  Was there an influx of patrons after the Super Bowl to ride the euphoria of a Patriots win or the disappointment of a Falcons Loss?
