When you think about Mongering in Asia, the first country that pops in your mind is usually not Japan.  Thailand, the Philippines, China, Korea, and even Macau boast reputations for a strong sex trade.  Japan, with its fairly xenophoebic tendencies were mostly keeping the mongering internally for Japanese nationals.  If you don't speak, you are out of luck..no soapland for you.  Urbandictionary.com defines Soapaland as A full-service bathing facility, and by full-service I mean FULL-SERVICE.
