Week 9 of the NFL season is in the books.  And sorry to say it was a poor one for the receivers.  Or shall I say for the receivers that got picked this past week.  No one picked TY Hilton who was the top point getter, but who could blame you with Andrew Luck now on the shelf for the rest of the season.  We had a changing of the guard at the top with Leer0yJenkins! the lead dog.  But only by the slimmest of margins.

There are a lot of guys that have not picked the full roster of players, so it is still anyone’s ballgame.  If you missed picking 2 RBs or 2 WRs, you can still fill those in.  If you have already locked in your players and try to pick again, they won’t count.   This week, please pick one TE.  Remember that this is a bye week for some, so take that into consideration when picking.

If you have not started playing, you can still enter your entire lineup this week to be eligible to win.  If you are a member that has not participated and would like to, enter your QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, and a TE this week.

With the holidays just around the corner and football in full swing, we have decided to bring back the Mini Tournament for all you football aficionados.  

The first week will be the QUARTERBACKS, so choose one from the following list below.  In the comments section, put the quarterback that you believe will have the highest number of total points for the week.  The week starts in two days on October 6 with the Cardinals playing the 49ers.  The week ends on October 10 with the Buccaneers and the Panthers.  I hope you have enough time to crunch the numbers and make that pick.

The following week, we will have the RBs, then the WRs, then the TEs, then finally the Defense.  No kickers again this year.  (Sorry to those who root for kickers).  If you happen to join the contest late, you can leave your pick for THAT weeks position players for the week that you missed.  For example, if you didn't pick a QB, you can pick a QB in addition to the RBs during the RB week and whatever points the QB scores, you will have those points for the QB section.  At the end of the contest, we will calculate the points for every participant and award the following:

1^stplace: $500 Vanilla Visa Gift Card

2^ndplace: $200 Vanilla Visa Gift Card

3^rdplace: $100 Vanilla Visa Gift Card

4^th-1oth place: $50 Vanilla Visa Gift Cards

Only premium members and registered users are allowed to participate.  You must be a premium member prior to the week we pick the Defense to be eligible.  For those counting, that means, prior to November 11.
